Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Welder / Fabricator to join our team in Blawnox. The primary responsibility of this position is to weld and fabricate a variety of metal structures based on instructions, sketches, drawings, and blueprints. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in accordance with company and industry standards. Pay range of $20 - 25 per hour.
Welder / Fabricator Essential Functions:

• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions using AWS D1.1 MIG procedures.
• Monitor fitting, burning, and welding processes to prevent warping, shrinking, distortion, overheating, or unwanted expansion of materials.
• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts during assembly using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, rulers, and other measuring tools.
• Inspect workpieces for defects and verify conformance with specifications using straightedges, templates, and other measurement devices.

Welder / Fabricator Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (trade school or technical training ).
• Proven welding and fabrication experience, with knowledge of MIG welding (AWS D1.1 certification ).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
• Strong understanding of metal properties, welding techniques, and fabrication processes.

Welder / Fabricator Experience:

• Minimum 2–3 years of welding and fabrication experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience working with various metals, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Familiarity with operating grinders, saws, torches, and other fabrication tools.
