Position Summary:
Vista Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Podiatrist to join our growing team of medical professionals. The ideal candidate will provide expert care in diagnosing and treating conditions of the foot, ankle, and related structures of the leg. This position offers an excellent opportunity to serve a diverse patient population in a supportive and collegial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive examinations, diagnoses, and treatments for foot and ankle conditions

• Prescribe medications, therapies, and orthotics as appropriate

• Perform minor in-office procedures and refer for surgery when necessary

• Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists for integrated patient care

• Educate patients on preventive foot care, especially those with diabetes or vascular issues

• Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from an accredited school

• Completion of an approved podiatric residency program

• Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine or American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery

• Active Illinois medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
