Job Description

Position Title: CNC Programmer

Wage: $28.00 - $36.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:00am - 2:00pm

QPS is looking for a skilled CNC Programmer to join a fast-paced manufacturing team in Ixonia, WI. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys turning complex designs into precise, high-quality parts and wants to be part of a dynamic environment where their programming expertise makes a tangible impact.

CNC Programmer Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop, review, and optimize CNC programs for milling, turning, and multi-axis machines
- Translate engineering drawings and blueprints into accurate machine code using G-code, M-code, and CAM software
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve machining processes, efficiency, and part quality
- Set up and adjust CNC machines as needed to ensure proper operation and tolerances
- Troubleshoot program and machine issues to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules
- Maintain detailed documentation of programs, revisions, and machine parameters

CNC Programmer Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing or machining environment
- Strong understanding of G-code, M-code, and CAM software
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, geometric dimensioning, and tolerances
- Knowledge of multiple machining processes (milling, turning, multi-axis)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
